Funerals

I will be honest with you, my first and only funeral as a celebrant, was a graveside service for a family member.

It was an incredibly moving experience and as a result I’ve undertaken some training, done a lot of reading, spoken to funeral directors and had a good, hard think about whether this is something I can do.

My personal experiences, attending funerals of friends and family, has been varied, it has made me realise what a difference your funeral director and celebrant can make to your grieving process.

At this stage, I can’t bring experience, but I can bring empathy, knowledge, understanding and a genuine desire to give you and your family a personal, meaningful farewell for someone you love.

I would also see it as an honour should you wish to let me help you plan your own funeral.

There are many ways to celebrate and honour a life, I am committed to helping you find the most fitting way to say goodbye.

As I continue to research and learn I will be adding resources to this page to help you plan a funeral for yourself or a loved one, in the meantime please reach out to see if I can help you with a funeral ceremony.
